So...... As far as i've heard, fighting Zakum is hard..... It turns out it was, but it was also fun at the same time xD. The arms were a pain in the ass though -.- Had to jump and attack to make it work. The dual blades in the party were pretty much doing the most damage, mostly because of Chains Of Hell F3. But even without it, they'd still do more damage than all of us. But everyone would be useless without the bishop that accompanied us on our Zakum run F3. The list goes as:
x3SheN
balrogkiller
TroubleSoul
x3MoonAngelz (didn't attend. idk why dun ask me f3)
LostLambo
and lHEARTburger
So all of us were on uneven levels, the lowest one being a level 96 hermit. It's kinda hard trying to get Triple Throw's Basic skillbook from Zakum, even with 2x drop.
I didn't add Stance at that time so i kept getting knock-backed by Zakum. The most annoying part of him was that he actually has his own "skill set". The last 2 arms were the top right ones. Those were the ones that required jumping and attacking, which was impossible without falling down. Then we'd just repeat the whole process until the arms get destroyed.
The main body was also hard, given that it does the same crap as Papulatus does. There's a big difference though. Zakum can Seal. Papulatus can cancel buffs. The things they have in common are that they can stun and they can knock your hp and mp down to 1. And the stun part is probably the hardest part to avoid. Rocks falling on you ._.
A message to a few friends of mine, i managed to capture the image of an eye in a pyramid at Zakum. Yes you know what i mean F3.
The only part i can't bear is the hp and mp being knocked down to 1. The only thing worse than that is having one of those flying mobs crash into you while your hp is 1. That's what i was fearing throughout the Zakum run >_> .
Haha, don't judge the guy at the top there. He ran out of MP pots. And since his avoid-ability was high, he could recover both HP and MP. Though HP doesn't require being recovered with the bishop being nearby.
It's like a sunrise from the Zakum's ass XD Look at it lol!
One of the amazing things about dual blades are, their Thorns, Chains of Hell and Sudden Raid. Thorns is slightly better than Sharp eyes, but its duration is shorter than Sharp Eyes without using cash. Sudden Raid was kinda useful in taking out the Flying Mob, and that had to take 3 tries. It was like a suicide attempt. Attacking once would attract the flying mob to us, and if our hp and mp were knocked back to 1 at that time, we'd all be so screwed. The other thing is Chains of Hell. A really really beautiful skill. I feel jealous for Dual Blades now f3. Manage to catch a friend of mine doing the skill xD.
And the Cancel Weapon Attack skill was really really annoying.
So when we got the chance to attack him, we went all out. By that time, 2 people had run out of MP potions and had to rely on either normal attacks or slacking.
Watch the HP bar -.- And watch those flying mobs that are getting a little too close for comfort.
I noticed that one of the mob's name is Punco. Which means Punch in Italian. They don't do much damage though, but they can really kill you when your HP is 1. And attacking up close with friends make a good effect xD.
Me roaring also attracted the mob towards us, so to my party, i'm sorry xD. But i seriously have no idea where the sudden wave of flying mob came from.
When the rocks started falling down, my friend died and the flying mobs were panicking xD. That's what i can tell from this pic F3.
So the level 96 hermit and the level 13X dual blader died, which left me and the leader alone to fight, along with the bishop who spammed heal(a big thanks to you :D). So in the end, we managed to kill Zakum in 2 hours and a half. Didn't take a picture of the drops though, i got a helmet, a card and a magic mastery basic skill book xD. Hesitated on getting the Zakum Tree Branch, but i reckoned that i took too much already so i stopped. Damn i look hot with a Zakum Helmet F3.
The helmet was boomed half an hour later with a 70% potential scroll ;_;
