Enhancement scroll

So i tried out an enhancement scroll that someone sold me for 10 million mesos ( i don't know the exact price) on my spiegelmanm necklace. What happened next didn't quit surprise me. The scroll never enhanced any stats at ALL. Except the defence. Which made me a bitttttttttt more pot conservative. Unfortunately, enhancement scrolls only work on SCROLLED items. So clean items won't be compatible with the scroll. So you would have to risk more XD . In this case i used a necklace

So yeah, it added a star, which made it look a bit nicer :P But still, it added nothing. Not that i'm complaining or anything. No slots were used >:) . So the prices of the enhancement scrolls are expected to fall and the potential scroll prices should be increasing a bit for some unknown reason.
