PvP nerf on Dark Knight skills

Didn't really notice that they nerf your skills. But on the plus side they make some awesome skills better XD.

Normally Sacrifice would have do 690% damage and consume up to 11% of a Dark Knight's health.

756% damage and 5% hp...... and yet I cannot use it when my health is below 20%...... So much for a kamikaze move, Sacrifice Sacrifice Sacrifice die XD.

My Dragon Roar has also received a rather generous boost. 10% hp consumption and 580% damage.

Hp consumption is pretty much the same, but the damage has been increase to 858%. That might explain the deaths from jumping down(after dying) and roaring XD.

Not really sure how Battle Mode attack works.... But I guess it's another form of attack in PvP. My Dragon Blood's weapon attack buff has been replaced with Battle Mode attack.

Though my regular attacking skill has been nerfed by 30% :\

That explains my lack of good attacks >.> Because most of the time I use this skill it ALWAYS has 3 hits and 1 critical. I'd be lucky to even get 2 criticals.

PvP gives you an extra 2 skills. One is Guardian Armor, which gives 1 Battle Mode Attack per 400 DEF.

There's a skill called Hidden Potential (Explorer) I noticed.

20% attack and defence increase when health is below 20%. ....

35% attack from Berserk.... + 20% attack from this skill.....
It would be better to just get critical. The only reliable Critical attack skill I have is Dragon Roar and Sacrifice. Confirmed Great Critical for Sacrifice, but Dragon Roar gives mixed results.

Oh yeah there were a few skills I didn't post because they got nerfed as well. That, and the fact I forgot to screenshot them =3=.

Beholder's healing (mine is level 1) Heals 120 hp every 9 seconds. After PvP nerf it gives only 70 hp per 9 seconds.
Dragon Fury does 410% damage outside PvP zone. But inside PvP it does 342% damage :(.
Magic Crash suffered the most I guess. 100% chance to cancel enemy buffs outside PvP. Inside PvP it's only a 60% chance.....
Berserk got a terrible nerf as well. At master level (level 30) it adds 60% damage if HP is more than 20%.
Now it gives 35% damage.... But the good part is this skill activates when HP is greater than 0% XD MUAHAHAHAHA free 35% damage :P.
And.....Hex of Beholder got nerfed as well. 560% damage (at level 3) has been brought down to 360% damage. Wat.

So yeah I went online one more time to screenshot my skills.

So yeah I guess that's it for now. I'll screenshot the other characters when I have the time.

Blog update

Exactly how I'm feeling now. So yeah, I was gonna post something about the Hot Time event, but I wasn't present during that time. Late breakfast >_> . Buuuttt...... yeah I got nothing. Though after the Hot Time event, quite a few players obtained Giant Potions (Can't really remember the name that well, hardly been in the Free Market lately), and Transformation Potions. I saw people posting on the MaplestorySEA page on facebook pictures of Von Leon bosses all over the place. I have 2 friends who were lucky enough to get a 100% potential scroll and a level up potion >_>. DO YOU TWO HEAR THAT? XD.

During the Hot Time, like last time, a lot of SP reset scrolls appeared in the Use section of the inventory. Crafting arrows takes up space >.> There was one thing I desired for that the event provided while I wasn't online. AP reset scroll. Hell even one point being reset is good enough for me. What are the chances that the next Hot Time they give a FULL ap reset :P. Til that day comes....

Oh yeah, song suggestions have been piling in so I put them up. I'm gonna accept another 3 more before I close all suggestions. A new poll has been put up, and for the first time(I think), a band has appeared twice on the list. Foster The People. Made famous for their Pumped Up Kicks :P. All their other songs sound pretty kick ass as well, so I suggest you guys listen to it. Though the music videos make absolutely no sense at all >_> . And one more thing, the fourth selection, Travis Barker - Let's go, is a collaboration with 4 very well known rappers. Probably 10 minutes worth of Lyrics, all shortened into 3 minutes >_> . They, are really fast rappers.

So yeah, that's it for now, maybe next time I'll post more stuff about Maple. Rawr. I seem to have lost motivation to play Maple. But still, I'm sure something will drag me back into my addiction for Maple.

PvP experience

I love how I can jump down and roar after I die and respawn, then manage to kill a few people XD.

What's up Maplers? Today I'm gonna write a post about PvP and a few minor things...

I really should upgrade my RAM. Lag is always number one in ALL PvP matches! F5.

I like the berets that you receive every time there's a team match. They look good and they probably give some people certain motivation when fighting :P

Hey look there's an aurora coming from Mars over there.

The EXP gained from PvP is rather satisfying, considering how many points I can get in a single match. 732 points for 1million EXP >_>

The great source of EXP has pushed me to train at PvP instead of LHC, not only because of that, but because it's really fun XD. Fall down and roar. Last hit a few people and get more points haha. So yeah, I reached 146.

We lost >.> But at least we lost with pride XD.

On to professions! Cole's Mineral Pouch is giving me crap, I can say that's for sure....

Nom nom nom mining level 4 now

So I mined to the limit and got scared when I saw red letters in the bottom right. I thought the White Lady of Perion had shifted to Crimson Wood XD. Apparently when you've used your insight to the limit in a day, there'll be a small notice in the bottom right saying "You cannot gain any more Insight EXP today". Seriously, red letters? >.>

Seeing as to how the Hot Time event that was supposed to run smoothly today didn't go as well as the Game Masters had planned, there's gonna be a reimbursement tomorrow at around 1430hrs (+8:00GMT). So yeah, be informed :P

And I guess this is it for now, will post soon if I get the chance. During the weekends I don't really sleep so I stay up writing stories and drawing crap. Oh and studies as well.

Introduction of Professions and PvP

My friend is now in the lead of the disconnection spree =3= As are most of the Maplers online now xD

WHAT'S UPPPPPPPP humans. It's been a while since my last post so....yeah. Professions and PvP has just been introduced, but already a string of problems have popped up. Disconnection and failure on how to handle Professions are among one of them =3=. Then there was a server check that lasted for about an hour or so, but it seems that nothing has changed. People are still disconnecting, and PvP still undergoes maintanence until 2130 hours (+8:00GMT) if I'm not wrong.

But enough with complaining. I'm sure before everyone disconnected, most of the Maplers that logged in had already chose at least one Profession. I selected Mining and got a pickaxe to start off with. Reminds me of Minecraft xD.

Oh yes, you have to pay 5000 mesos to learn a new Profession. I'm sure everyone can afford that >.> .

The first thing you have to do is kinda obvious, because he immediately give you the quest via the light bulb above his head. Don't skip what he says, it might help you to know every single detail that he describes. Same goes to other Professions. So basicly you just mine for silver ores. Faded ones. How to mine? Check your keyboard settings. You'll notice that the NPC chat button/function has been fused with the function "Harvest" making it NPC chat/Harvest. You just use the NPC chat/Harvest button then you can mine to your hearts desire. Okay maybe not, there's still the fatigue meter you have to watch.

After you're done you have to go purchase Basic Mold from the general store NPC at the top. Then you can create the Faded Silver needed for the quest to be done.

OH GOD THE PICKAXE WENT THROUGH MY EYE. (Be careful kids! ~.~)

Crafting offers a wide range of new throwing stars and bullets, though I managed to only screenshot a few. Including a few new capes ! :D

So yeah after that I went offline and took a screenshot of my progress. Fatigue decreases at a 5 per hour rate if I'm not mistaken

I don't think it's possible to go PvP right now because of the disconnecting issues so.... I'll try that tomorrow. But for now, I'm gonna go bake cupcakes. CryZDit I know you know what iI mean =3=.

Level 144

Yeah it's been a while since I posted my level progress....

So yeah, it's 2:48 in the morning on a Saturday morning and I know that recently most of my posts have been early in the morning. Can't really do things on time now. Breakfast at 3 in the afternoon! XD. No seriously, it's been like this for weeks now, and I'm not relaly well at the moment, so yeah.... quick post, some pills and I'll try to get some sleep

I'd like to congratulate DualFizz on his Phantom Blow success, even though it was a basic skillbook. After 19 zakums ._. xD

And congratulations to CryZDit on successfully upgrading your Assassinate's master level to level 30 XD. The only thing left is to max it F3. Unfortunately I wasn't around when he succeeded. So here's a picture of me passing my Achilles book 2 xD.

Not much effect if it's just 2.5% of my damage taken reduced ._.

So yeah, I guess this is a short post for now. Oh and by the way, for the few people who didn't get to take their items from Duey before he was removed, I found him in Ariant, so yeah you can go check if your stuff is still with him or not

Oh yeah, it's almost been a month now so.... I need more song suggestions. I'm putting up 2 or 3 of my own selections. Anyone who has a song suggestion can send email me. Email's in the "profile" section at the side. Hope to hear more from my readers out there ^.^ But for now, I guess I'll take a short break from blogging. I'm currently writing some online fan fictions for a few people and baking cupcakes to earn a little money, so yeah... My hands are kinda full. Less online time = A much healthier me.
