level 102

Finally reach level 102 after a week of slacking >.> And i'm currently finding someone to party me so we could go papulatus but... i might die 8D . Anyway, i'd like to welcome my friend SinzOnlys back to maplesea after a long time of quitting and playing private servers F3. Although Abidestory and Bankaistory look good.... I still prefer the original maplestory over fake ones that go easy on you :D .

According to hidden street, the papulatus clock has about 23million hp and after its destroyed the body that flies around has about 1.59million hp. Which means solo-ing it won't be an option unless i'm willing to spend hours trying to kill it. But maybe with a night walker or a hermit/ night lord would be good. The only problem is they die fast -.- . But they have high avoidability so the chances of them getting killed are slim to medium or something like that. So it's either i bring a bowmaster/ranger with me or i bring a night lord/night walker with me. And i still have to consider telling them not to loot ( but of course they will). Then again, seeing that papulatus DOES drop some pretty good skillbooks(storm arrow, etc.), i wouldn't imagine someone NOT looting anything that papulatus drops

And I would like to congratulate the guild master of FrostBite, hermitprew, on reaching level 102!! Although it's from buying all those spams from bishops from our guild and elsewhere and therefore does not count as a legitimate level-ing up sequence :D Which means i still own him. Hermitprew, if you're reading this, take note that I OWN YOU.  And i would like to give my late congratulations to maplestory98(bishop in our guild) for reaching levle 136 F3.

Dual blade finally out....

Sorry about the slow update of my blog guys. Haven't been that active in maple either.... Anyway, after the patch on the 10th of november, maplestorySEA has OFFICIALLY released the new job that everyone in maple has been drooling all over for, DUAL BLADE. Although, i don't find the job quite promising, so i went back to playing my dragon knight lHEARTburger since i had nothing to do. And for the past few weeks, I've been hunting medals :D

And ever since that patch, there has been an increase of drop rates, for as far as i know, of up to 2.5 times the regular drop rate. According to my friends, they say it will probably last until the next patch which would arrive early disember for the christmas patch. So from the first day that the patch was released, there has been a good amount of equipment price drops. And i got like 4 kataras from hunting at Mastery Death Teddy.

and when you mix this with the new potential system :

now since the drop rate of equipments has increased, this combined with the new potential system, has led to a certain congestion within certain maps in maple, like MP3, and the Ligator swamps near kerning city. Because of this, the level of laggyness in maple has increased dramatically and there have been many times that I myself have disconnected from the game.

Oh yeah, there's also an event going on in maple. Basically you log in and you get a light bulb over your head and there will be the maple administrator giving you a dark feather. You stay online for at least 15 minutes then you will get a light bulb above your head again, and the maple administrator will ask whether or not you would like the 2x Drop Rate buff or the 2x Exp rate buff. Even after you pass 15minutes, if you somehow disconnect, or log out on purpose, you can log in and still see the light bulb above your head with the maple administrator still asking which buff you want.

I recommend these monsters that drop a lot of good things:

Master Death Teddy (Bloodsoaked katara, Dark Enigma, and a few different kinds of gloves)
Master soul teddy (Purple Mystique shoes, Evil tale)
Gobys (earrings)
Squids (earrings and capes)
Bone Fish ( Magician equipment)
Grim Phantom Watch (more kataras and overalls )

Now i have no idea about the other monsters that give a high drop rate also, so if you have any idea on which monsters have good drops, comment below F3

   Hey how are you guys, its been a while since i stopped blogging. There was exams so....
Anyway i hope that all you maplers are fine and well and that you all are prepared for dual blade to come out on the 10th of november ! Although there will some of you guys who won't make a dual blader and just continue with your regular maple jobs.

this morning at about 2am while everyone was sleeping i decided to go and train at gobies which ave pretty decent exp and drops. Moreover i can use its drops to make more monster crystals XD the only thing left that i need now is some mithril plates so i can make a fairfrozen with a power crystal... which i have absolutely no idea how much they cost... and while i was at the free market i saw this :

anyway, there have been people typing things like "B>ilbi 40mil" . I encountered one and tried to sell it to him. he said that he was just saying so other people can follow him and the prices of the ilbi will skyrocket to 40mil. More or less it might happen. Which is terrible considering the fact that Aquila is full of people who that all the time which i think may be the cause of the rise and fall of prices such as :

the prices used to be low before suddenly they increased by 30% which happens occasionally before they fall in between both the low and high. This increases the desperation of some maplers which in turn makes them resort to scamming and hacking. Honestly how many times have you guys been scammed? I've been scammed  a loooooooooot of times already and i feel emo everytime i tio scam

Oh yeah, and most of you maplers may know about the olivia party quest at the haunted house that only lets you in 3 times to kill olivia. And i saw that only a handful of maplers have got the Olivia Chair already. And thanks to the Suni NPC people have been receiving rose chairs, under the moon chairs, musical note chairs, red designer chairs and tiger skin chairs(endangered species<<~.~). But a lot of unlucky people who received potions, ciders, sushi and ramen all that have been saying that this event is just for the profit of asiasoft and some conspirators who are claiming that asiasoft is associated with some meso selling websites. Which i think is.... half true half crap-ish thing.

And lastly, Congratulations to the facebook group MaplestorySEA for reaching 100,000 fans ^^ and the number is steadily rising. And the group is hosting a Maple In Real Life(MIRL) event for maplers who see real life things that ressemble in-game items/ cash items. for example here's a picture curtosey of Leong Jun Yep on facebook :
