Wheeeee finally Mechanic has arrived to MapleSEA after being so long awaited. Though the first day will be very very laggy F3.
Ok to start this off, I'll begin with Mechanic. Though the job maybe overpowered but it really is very slow ;_; It has a skill like combat step for Arans, but it's much much slower as well ._. Using the Drill skill will help you get around a map, but you are bound to miss a few >.> So I suggest you guys Drill then Burn or Hammer them before Drilling again. The job mainly consists of a dex build, since it wields a gun. Good thing about Mechanic is that it doesn't use bullets :P So you can fire to your heart's content without worrying about re-bulleting at the pot shop.
Other than that, the level-ing rate of the Mechanic is somewhat silly O_o. Seriously you can reach level 50 in under 5 hours ._. Much to my surprise at first, but then after a while I got frustrated when I kept getting ks-ed while training, all due to the speed of Mechanics. That's why I abandoned mine in Arcania :P Though another reason for that is because Arcania is kinda desolate F3.
*cough* Moving on.
We ALL remember this when Resistance came right? Another thng is the Resistance Secret Box. Before this it was unable to be opened. Apparently the box is for Mechanic :P Unfortunately the Resistance Ring cannot be stacked, which is somewhat predicted but I'm still disappointed.
Due to popular demand, Evolving Ring Event is back!
When you first get it, it will have no stats, but give it time and it will evolve into the best ring you own!
The Evolving Ring can evolve up to 17 times, once per day!
This is what you have to do to start getting your evolving ring:
- Log in and talk to NPC Cody at Event Map to receive a ring. This ring will have no stats.
- Explore the new Maple World for 1 hour. If you log out not having stayed the full hour, the ring will disappear.
- When you have stayed the full hour in Maple World, your ring will evolve into a level 1 ring automatically!
This is what will need to do from 2nd to 17th times of the evolving process:
- Log in and tell NPC Cody you want to evolve your ring. He will give you a box.
- Explore the new Maple World for an hour. If you log out not having stayed the full hour, the box will disappear.
- When you have stayed the hour, the box will automatically open up to reveal a potion.
- Take the potion back to Cody to evolve your ring.
Be sure to talk to
NPC Cody on the
last day of the event, 26th July 2011 to evolve your ring one last time to change your ring into
TRADEABLE!
Note:
•
Characters holding on to existing Evolving Ring (tradeable or untradeable) from previous Evolving Ring Event will not be able to get the ring or upgrading potion box from NPC Cody.

Who remembers the Grendel 6th Anniversary Final Diligent Seeker event?
Missed getting the chairs from Grendel 6th Anniversary Diligent Seeker 1 or 2? Grendel the Really Old is giving everyone 1 last chance to get their hands on them!
• Event is available to character level 8 and above.
• For 10 days in a row, look for
NPC Maple Administrator and obtain a Attendance Book daily!
• With the Attendance Book, look for Grendel the Really Old in Ellinia, to obtain a stamp daily and some minor anniversary rewards.
• Please take note you need to complete this task daily for 10 consecutive days to prove your sincerity to Grendel to get the final reward.
• On the 10th and final day, if you have complete the task for 10 consecutive days, you will be able to
choose 1 of the 2 chairs!
The last sentence really was the last straw ._. Why can't we have this event like last time? One at a time? This one lasts for only 10 days so it's gonna be hard to get the chair if you miss ;_;.

Monster Box Event is back! Though I might not be participating, still reeling from the crap I received last year..... LOL . Never mind I'll try ONE box :P If I'm lucky I could get a Ribgol Sword XD.
Event Details
- Event is available to character level 15 and above.
- Talk to NPC Cassandra to enter Ranch Entrance.
- Talk to NPC Owner of Pasture to choose which mode you wise to enter. 5 or 10 members.
- For 5 members mode, 1 will become wolf. 4 will become sheep.
- For 10 members mode, 3 will become wolves. 7 will become sheep.
- Sheep will need to run away from wolves and avoid losing all their Fine Wool within the time limit to win.
- Wolves will need to attack the sheep with Steal Sheep Wool (bomb) until they lose all their Fine Wool to win.
- Both Sheep and Wolves will be able to receive special items available only at the ranch.
- Maplers are advised to have 5 USE slots available to receive the special items.
- Maplers are advised set these items in key setting while playing the game.
- By gathering more Fine Wool (for wolf) or Shepherd Boy’s Lunch (for sheep) during game play, you will earn more EXP upon victory!
- Try to find Sheep Ranch Golden ? Egg inside the boxes of the ranch that will give out random rewards including Fairy’s Pendant (24 hours).
Somehow this event......................... seems familiar. I'm not saying like I've done it before, but somehow this event reminds me of an event we had a while back...... No matter, this event looks fun XD. But the question is the size of the map. I wonder how big it is O_o If it's small then all the people inside (except the wolf) are screwed XD. Good luck trying though :P

- You will receive a random reward and a Obedient Child Medal

Note that all the rewards (except power elixir duhhhh) have a time limit, so to those who are willing to spend their time I will not stop them XD Because you could just use the Magic Hourglass from Cash Shop to extend the time, though the price for 1 day is 450 cash....... And why must The Enlighten Mark (STR) require more medals then the rest? T~T

Updates
To clear up the doubts raised by many Maplers on Mark of Naricain Pendant, Mark of Naricain obtained BEFORE Mechanic Patch will not have any changes. It will not be stated as one-of-a-kind item after Mechanic Patch.
Only NEW Mark of Naricain Pendant dropped by Crimson Wood Keep Expedition after Mechanic Patch will be stated as one-of-a-kind item.
We hope this clear up some misunderstanding on this issue.
